Hydraulic rebuild question

I am attempting a rebuild of the hydraulics (won't lift anymore). I was watching the video for rebuilding it and when they took the front valve plat off, theirs was in 2 pieces. Mine is just one and it had a gasket on it. It looked like theirs did not. Do I need to put a gasket back on? The Hydraulic kit did not contain this gasket.

Thanks for any help.

OK now we know that it is not an 8 or 9N. Others will have to help you. I've rebuilt 6 or so N's but have no experience with newer models.

No answer here but I will be doing the same overhaul on my Jubilee this spring. I also have the video. Could you be a bit more specific or show a picture of the front plate you are talking about. Maybe the two pieces?
Thanks

Here is a picture of the plate. Also a picture of the hydraulics where the plate attaches. I ended up having to make a gasket using a template at the link below. (Thanks Richard). Mine still does not work yet but I think it is because I need to prime the pump (still working on that). Mine had a busted O ring in the large ram cylinder. I am hoping that was the problem.
