Looking to buy a hydraulic top link for my jubilee , have the valve. Am looking for what to look for in the cylinder its self. thanks joe

I bought mine from Carter and Carter in Johnson City TN. They were the cheapest five years ago. I really like mine.

I got mine from Amazon. Just googled it and in a few days of looking Amazon sent me the lowest price $180. It came with hoses and a valve on cyl that takes pressure to move it. So will stay where you put it even if you unplug it. Makes a quick coupler really work. I can always hook and unhool even on unlevel ground. If it is terribly unlevel I just extend cyl and just hook top and move tool to a levelar spot. You will need your measurements of the toplink short as it will go and long as it will go, say with at least a inch of threads holding.

I was going to make one. Didn't know you could buy them.

I brought one from Agri. Supply. It doesn't hold its position and I have to always readjust it. I liked the standard hydraulic cylinder I used before wasting a 119 bucks on there top link.

I bought one from Surplus Center for my Ford 3600, it has the check valve for holding it's position. Can't remember where I bought the one on my 3000 but in my book a Hyd top link is a necessity.

I made my own.
Bought a cylinder off of craigslist for $25 and cut the balls off of a turnbuckle type top link that the threads were damaged and welded them on.
I would cry if I ever had to go back to a screw type.

You have a bad inner seal in that cylinder that lets the oil go past seal to other end is why you have to reajust. Repair that seal and it will hold unless the cylinder bore is bad.

Bought this from Dalton Hydraulics on line. This top link hydraulic cylinder is a "Prince" brand but I also had a "Dalton" brand. Sure are handy.
