hydraulic valve question - Sherman backhoe

The original subject was hydraulic valve question Sherman backhoe.

I have a 54B that has been in the family for over 40 years. I just acquired it from my great Aunt. I am in the process of restoring the backhoe. The big problem I have is that there is no pump.. Could someone send me a picture of the data plate for the pump. I would be very grateful.

Did you ever get any information about the hydraulic gear pump for the sherman power digger? I'm doing the same thing and unable to find what size I should get as far as gpm if so would you let me know

If your digger arm has been broken you can still find the pipe in BOM with a 1/2" wall as apposed to the 3/8" it likely came with. If I remember right it was going to ad 30lbs or so to the loader. Mine was down for about 3 months last year waiting on the pipe to come in. Finally just had the original repaired. Scaling the manuals photos my arm is about 5 inches shorter than it came. This one has a 5 spool valve, the manual has a 4 pictured. Here is a video of mine. You really tell where the digger arm was repaired but you can tell where a previous owner patched in spots. The manual is copied to the other tractor site.
