Hydraulics question

Hi guys,
49 8n front mount. Last fall I pulled my hydraulic pump cleaned and rebuilt everything and filled with fresh fluid. I haven't had much time to try it out, but today I put the mower on and tried to cut some. The PTO works fine but the arms would come up just a bit then the hydraulics wouldn't work, that is it would not come up or down. I would disengage and sit for a few minutes then it would work again for maybe 10 or 15 min the stick again. Also it still drifts up and down like it used to. Did I miss something or maybe mess something up? Thanks for all the help!

are you in draft mode?

have you taken the inspection cover off and manuall moved the arm from the top cover to the pump to see if the control valve i smoving or sticking?

what is the condition of the new oil?

did you adjust the lift cover and service the cam / pin when you had it apart?

post back

The oil is in good condition, I haven't taken the inspection plate off. I'm not sure how to adjust it and I don't remember a cam pin. Guess I have some more work to do. Is the adjustment a fairly easy job?
Thanks!

adjustment ain't hard.. just a bit tedius with the lift cover out onteh bench.

you will have it all apart to do the cam pin.

you really should have done it all when you had it down last time.

first verify the control valve IS moving with the arm fromt he top cover, and you aren't in draft mode.. .. post back.
