I have a 8n that the lift sometimes wont lift or let down and when its raised it leaks down do i need to rebuild the pump or is there another fix.Thanks for the help

Leak down say the lift cylinder is leaking. Will work some times and not others sounds like a sticking control valve. You need to pull the right side inspection plate off and have a look see inside. Fire it up and try to raise the 3 point with something heavy on it and watch for oil dripping and spraying which is should not do. If you do not have one yet buy an I-T FO-4 manual it has some good info and better yet pictures LOL
