Hydraulics

[Jubilee 1953]

Got a question on Hydraulics on a 1953 ford, there is a tube that is attached on the side of the case and the tube goes down in to the case, where does the end of that tube go. does it just go down in the tank or dose it go some where. I had a computer crash and lost all my photos of the tear down.

Is it the pickup tube for the hydraulic pump Is my guess did it have a screen on it ?

No I found out the it goes the the Hydraulic cylinder in the upper part. Now I just need to find the copper gasket that goes on the outside of the case, book has 6734 for a part number but cant find it. Would anyone know what the part number maybe?

ell, description still lacking, but............the only thing I can think of that sounds anything like your words suggest, is the back pressure valve assembly, which has a tube attached (dumps into sump) and is held between center housing and lift cylinder by a threaded tube in side of center housing and that tube is covered by an acorn nut on outside of tractor. Gasket under acorn nut is NAA989-A.
