Not trying to be a jerk, but I can't think of a good reason to try hydrogen.

I'm assuming you are talking about the electrolysis apparatus that feed the oxygen-hydrogen mixture to the engine. In automobiles, it improves the mileage for the true believer, i.e. those that adjust their driving habits enough to increase mileage. Even if the mixture was some magic elixor that improved the combustion of the diesel fuel, I suspect the generator would have to run at red heat to provide appreciable amounts of hydrogen. Ditto for the "Amish" stoves. If you shut the furnace off, and take the heater with you into a closet or very small room, you can be very comfortable. Any electrical heater will do the same for you.

Those H2 generators will work when the 1st,2nd & 3rd laws of thermodynamics are repealed.
Is the person trying to sell you the unit, a honest person?
