I broke something.........

I've just got to gripe. I'm finishing my resto job up on a '45 A. It had a cobbled up seat on it when I got it. Last week I got the correct seat locally. I was painting the whole assembly tonight.........the cast iron frame portion came off the hanger, hit the concrete, and broke.
Damnit.

I hate when things like that happen. Years ago I pulled an injector pump of a 4230 (at the owners shop),he went to hand it to a helper of his to go put it in the pick-up, then pulled it back to himself and said "I'll do it myself, you've been clumsy this week" about a moment later the owner fumbled it,,hit the floor and broke an ear off the pump, after a couple of heartbeats of silence, the helper said Darn Dave, I'm glad I didn't drop it,,I didn't know weather to hide behind a wheel or laugh.....

And you thought that was bad.... Just look and see what my boss did to my favorite tractor last Friday around 1pm. Don"t worry he is O.K. for now...Hint Hint

I never had one flip back on me but I did have my 4020 (big bush hog on the 3pt) spin 90 degrees at the dove tale- flat bed part of the trailer. The two front tires were on the ground while the rears were still on the the trailer. Didn't have time to panic, happened way too fast.

How'd that happen? Have loaded dozers, backhoes and tractors more times than I can count and never come close (I assume) to turning one over.

Level ground,dry conditions,even had 3 ramps.
How in the heck did he do that ???

Pop the clutch hard at the top of the ramp or something ?

major clutch issues & a carb that wont idle? backing it on is much safer but then you got that darn high reverse to deal with ;-(
