I.H. model 674 239 engine diesel

I am working on a 1974 I.H. model 674 engine diesel 239. I am in the process of putting a new clutch kit on the engine. What I would like to know is what is the torque seating's for the Pressure plate. My so call shop book is telling me 20-foot pounds. Not to Shure if that is true. So I thought I would post this and see if this is right or wrong. If wrong please give me that torque seating in foot pounds. Thanks

grade 5, 3/8 bolts? you can look that up in the torque chart. but ya around 20 lbs. if so. its more of a feel thing.

I just do it by feel when they seem tight enough I go on to the next one. don't twist them off.Just more work.

The bolts are 5/16''-18 Grade 5, so standard torque would be around 13. If Grade 8, 20.
