I have difficulty seeing the size

What gets me is that instructions with a lot of stuff I buy comes on a sheet about the size of a postage stamp (sarcasm). I use Farmer's insurance and my auto liability card is about 2x3".....need a magnifying glass to read it. No reason for that. They have it on an 8x10 page with lots of blank space that could have been used to enlarge the printing so that one could read it with no glasses and/or bad to mediocre vision. It's a PIA for me when its time for the annual vehicle inspection trying to ensure that I have the right piece of paper with me for the period involved.

Same with a lot of things you buy in the drug store. Can't read what you need to know.......what I find amazing is that mfgrs. have a mechanical assembly line putting out hundreds of a product a day and each one has this tiny label with the required information. The printing is perfect, nice and neat, no smudges and all that. So you buy a bottle of pills that's a good size and it has 30 tiny pills in it....and somewhere on the label it says that the container size is required to get all the verbiage required printed.

I'm amazed at the "minds" that think up the machines that do things like printing labels for one instance.....or things like beverage manufacturing where thousands of bottles/cans of this or that are produced daily. The machines make the price what it is. Couldn't imagine someone trying to do some of those jobs by hand and what the products would cost the consumer.

Well that's enough for killing time this morning. Gotta figure out something constructive to do today.........?????? Maybe I'll tidy up the house................any takers? Grin
