I need Everyone's help

I need help. My father loved this site. I know he not only used it to buy and sell parts before he died but to interact with all of you. You all knew him as Bob in NC IA.

We know he sold a pair of fenders shortly before he passed away but we know nothing more than that. Someone says they're picking them up today. Does anyone know anything about this? I don't want anyone trying to take advantage of my mother's lack of information. PLEASE contact me if you know ANYTHING about this.

Sorry to hear of your Dad's passing.

A similar sort of deal happened near here with some tractors when the fellow passed away suddenly.

Can you cross reference any phone #'s that showed up in caller ID and/or his phone log or phone bill?

Or is there any trace in emails or paypal accounts that would indicate who he dealt with??

Thank you for your sympathies and for your help.

Unfortunately my mother can"t find any records what-so-ever about it. She knows that he sold a pair but not which ones, for how much, who to, if they were paid for, nothing. She"s already scoured through all the emails she can find. Someone said he"s coming to get them today and thats all we know. I"m going off the infinitesimal chance that someone remembers him selling them. If not then the only thing we can do is let him have which ever pair he says he"s paid for and assume he"s the buyer and that he"s honest. I"m not saying he isn"t, I"m just trying to cover the bases for my mom.

He will have a receipt or be able to show via email or whatever that a transaction occurred or the parts stay at home.

Normally that's what I would do, at the very least have him present a copy of the cleared check. Unfortunately I wasn't told about any of this until this morning long after he'd left Nebraska to come get the fenders in northern Iowa. From what I understand he'll be there to pick them up within the hour if he's not there already. I appreciate all the help!

if all else fails i wouldnt worry. Tractor people are the best i know, especially those on this site. I know there are a few nuts out there, but for the most part. Ive sold some things over the photo adds and bought sevral things, and never had a problem, but still, be careful
