I should have stayed inside; 960 radiator damaged.

I thought I could quickly replace the 3 blade fan on my 960 with a new 6 blade pusher fan, so that my wife would not complain about me smelling like fuel.

As a result, I scraped the inside of the radiator with the new fan during installation.

Is there an easy repair for this or will I need to remove the hood and radiator?

Thanks in advance for any advice,

Steve

When cable ties holding the Honda radiator that I used to have on my 960 broke and the radiator went into the fan, a friend gave me some GM stop leak and it sealed a pretty good leak. It's not like you have to worry about it starting to leak again while you are on the interstate

It is not possible to properly repair a leaking radiator core without removing the radiator.
