Our plague that is, two months comatose and another four months
in in re-hab and trache removal, now learning to walk again.
I did manage to hobble out to the 8n with my walker and get
it started but I am not strong enough to operate it YET !!
Looking forward to reading up on what I have missed in the
last six months, Thank GOD I lived !!

Never stop kicking.

Operate it?
How about climbing up on it and just drive it around for a short distance?

Keep going. You stop moving and they might throw dirt on you.

God speed on your recovery.

Clifford B , Thank God for your recovery and continued recovery back to being a good healthy young man, Gas up that 8N and take it for daily rides around the place, going visiting friends and neighbors a little farther each day. That will be great exercise for the both of you to keep the two of you in top shape!

Clifford, So glad you are making it back. What an ordeal! What LarryMaine said, about he chicken soup, it's not just an eastern thing. I won't tell what he recently did  Plus a lot of prayers well help bring you all the way back.

Good to see you back!
I was thinking about you on the hobby
machinist board a while back. Hadn't seen
you over there either.
As my cousin always says,
I'm glad you're still looking at the
flowers and not the roots :)

I don't know the back story as to what happened. But yes, Thank God Almighty for not punching your ticket. I'm glad that you are recovering and I wish you a very prompt and complete one. As someone whom has had several surgeries and recoveries that took far longer than they should have, I would urge you to learn from my mistakes. Accept the following rules and live by them:

1. NONE OF US are as young as we used to be! It takes longer for our bodies to heal completely in spite of what our minds tell us.

2. Listen to the pretentious A hole that you call "Doctor". While he may not know the first thing about farming, he/she DOES KNOW about recovery and you should follow his/her guidance.

3. When in doubt, revert back to rules 1 and 2!!!

Again, glad you are recovering and I wish you well.

Thank all of you for your kind responses, I am goin at it
one day at a time and makin progress with the help of the Lord Almighty and prayers from family and friends like you.....
