On another thread, I mentioned that some 95,000 H Farmalls were built from 1939 to 1952. I've learned since the number was actually 391,227. No wonder there are still so many around.

Yeah...around here the Farmall H is probably the single most common tractor at tractor drives and shows. Along with the venerable Ford 8N.

In the fifties in my community (n.c. Texas) cotton was king and model H Farmalls were the most numerous of all tractors in the fields followed by JD model A’s. I planted many acres of cotton with an H and front mounted planters. The H was a solid reliable tractor.
