I am struggling to find model and serial № for my tractor so I can purchase correct parts. Any help from you would be greatly appreciated.

Ford 9N made from 1939 to 42. Then the 2n came out rebadged to get around war quotas....mostly same tractor as far as parts go

The first picture shows an alternator mounted on the left side of the engine. That would make the engine a 50 to 52 8N but the rest of the tractor is 9N or 2N.

That was a good observation about the alternator on the left side.

As previously said, engine is likely a 1950-1952 if it has the distributor sticking out the right side of the motor. Rest of the tractor is a late 1945 to 1947 2N.

Since it was changed to an alternator, could someone have redid it to the left side?

No, the front mount distributor would be in the way of the belt.

That ignition switch location is puzzling. Is there a hole on the upper left side of the steering column housing?

Looks like a neat rig but wow, that loader framing sure covers up everything, difficult to get access to anything!
