Identify and problems MF35

JB in OK

Hello All. I have a what I think is a TO-35 but the data plate on the dash is missing. It has a Continental Z134 engine S#674056. On the left side of the motor is stamped CWC H228 and Z134A500P. Left side of the transmission area is stamped G 7 8 & MHF 182840M1. Right side of read end MHF181402M3. It is painted red and gray that appears to be the original paint. I don't know if it has a dual clutch (I am afraid to start it at this time) but it does have the engine and ground pto. I am guessing this is maybe a 57 or 58 TO35 Deluxe. Does this sound right to anybody?

My problem with it is I loaned it out (which was my first mistake)and the engine started knocking and no oil pressure was noticed. It had plenty of oil but had metal shaving in the oil pan when some was drained. I am guessing that my oil pump went bad or is clogged up. Do I need to plan on pulling the crank and replacing the rod bearing or am I going to have to replacing the cylinders and valves also? Any guidance anybody has would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
JB

You have a 1958 TO-35. The casting code is the G 7 8 number. That means the transmission case was cast on July 7th 1958. The tractor SN would be a month or two behind that.

your going to have to take the oil pan off and start checking the bearings your crank shaft can be turned and correct bearings inserted . a new oil pump etc. my point sir is start looking at what is causing the metal in your oil . ps. do not start the tractor until it is fixed .good luck
