Identify this tractor

I found this old pic of my dad on his grampas tractor. The picture was taken sometime in the 50's in Oklahoma. My dad passed away in 1989 and I've always wondered what year case tractor might be. Any ideas?

With the metal steering wheel , I will guess a C.

Looks like a Case L to me. Looks too big for a C. Definitely not an LA, as they were painted flambeau, and had rounded fenders.

Guess I lean to a "L" Case, but I have not seen this block Case letters on a "L" fuel tank before

My guess would be a model c or L and
someone had repainted the tractor and put a
case decal on the fuel tank.

That is an L. Wrong fenders for an LA. Spent many days as an older kid on each, and when little rode the fenders with Dad.

A Google search of images shows a C Case with the steering wheel slightly higher
than the hood and the L steering wheel even with the hood. Tractor looks big but
it's a small boy on the seat.
