It looks like one gang of a ridge buster we used to knock down the listed ridges when the milo got tall enough to be covered back over. My
uncle always ran 2 passes with a gang of 5. You set the discs in the picture to kill the weeds on the side of the ridge on the first pass.
The second pass was with the discs turned out to pull the dirt ridge over against the base of the milo plant. The tin shield protected the
plant from damage. The 2 shovels were set to kill any weeds. The thought of the ridges was when it rained, the water ran down in the trench
where the plant was. Think of it as a high tech cultivator. My uncle pulled his with a D4 Cat so it would ride up on top of the ridges and he
could rest his eyes. Depending on the rain, there was a pretty small window to run it. If the milo was too short, it would cover it up. To
tall and the shield would take the tops off the plant. It usually got done right after wheat harvest.

Thank you now I have a better idea of what Im dealing with, the people that used them grew a lot of wheat back in the day.

That is what people called a Go Devil when I was a kid. I used one a lot when I was a kid. We used it for the first cultivation of corn, soybeans or milo to break down the ridge from a lister and start moving soil in around the plants, thus the tent style shields. It was a slow go when using it. So when I was a kid, we cultivated row crops 3 times, once with the Go Devil and the next two times with a cultivator. The third time we used ridging disks in place of the front shovels.

You have what we called in our area one side of a 2 -Row used as others said for the first cultivation of small corn. The wheels are spaced to follow the trench made by the lister. I have at least 2 -3
complete units in fair condition. For some reason its use was discontinued early in my childhood late 1950-60's as an un-necessary step but the cultivations several passes was kept up so they been safely
stored in the trees since then.
A fellow I was trying to plant potatoes with had one and we used it for making the furrows and also cultivating and digging them. Only time I have ever seen one of these used?? They have all kinds of ways to
adjust them and are a light duty implement and very little power to pull Cleddy .
