Hi Guys,
I'm having some problems with my A which is idling way too fast. The carb was rebuilt by Roberts and it has new rings, valves, and a reground crank. The engine is very tight and difficult to start by hand, but when pulled it starts fine. But, here's my problem,...With the throttle almost closed I adjusted the idle screw to the smoothest idle, any more in or out and it starts running slower and rougher, but it's too fast. If I close the throttle even a fraction more, the engine just dies. What's going on, and how do I fix it?
Thanks,
Andrus
