Not a good day cutting beans. Only damage was a bent ladder thankfully. Set the head off to keep from messing it up.

Mine went down on one side yesterday also. Was able to get the grain cart under the auger to empty it out.

I stood on the brake for the wheel in the hole and kinda screwed the combine out of the mud without hooking on to it. I was lucky it came out so easy.

Most guys around here have a 4wd tractor in the field at all times, you never know when you will fall through, even going up hills. The neighbor went by yesterday with triples on his JD 9610, my brother dualled up his 9600 last weekend, its ugly out there. Around here as long as you stop as soon as it spins out they have been able to pull them out, if they are dug in all bets are off. I dont think around here you would get a wrecker even in a field, there have been some companys advertising they will pull out combines, dont know how they would get across a field though.

Man, I don"t envy you guys at all we went through that kind of fall about thirty years ago here in SW OHIO just couldn"t string two good days in a row together it seemed those 43.00 terras or duals were the only thing moving Mud hogs were hard to come by if we found any we were in the dealer shop till the wee hours istalling them. Good Luck

I heard once, and very wisely I might add, that it was MORE than worth the money and time to dig to the front axle of the combine to hook and pull backwards, rather than pull a rear axle off. It stuck with me, and if I am ever stuck in that kind of situation, I plan on doing it....

Boy that sucker is in there....
