IH 165 plow value

1983 IH 165 plow, 4-18's, on-land hitch, gauge wheel, rear coulter, bottoms in good/very good condition. Located in SE Nebraska. What's an estimate on private sale price? Thanks.

Rigid beam or hydro reset? I saw a reset sell at
auction last year fot $10,000.Which in my opinion
was too high.But they are a damn good plow! Any IH
plow is among the best. I run both a 314 and a 642.

There is one on TractorHouse right now for $16,000. 6 bottom solid beam roll over plow.Looks to be in good condition. LE

The plow I saw was a in-furrow model.I see 140s still bring 4000 to 5000 dollars

The reset model will ususally command a much higher

There's plenty of newer CaseIH 5 and 6 bottom plows, but not hardly any 4 bottom IH plows. A friend has an opportunity to sell his and he wants to see what a fair price would be.

Purchased 3pt. semi-mounted 720 4 by 18 with good coulters and moldboards a couple years ago for $1200.

In-furrow not on land hitch.
