IH 250 corn planter

where can i get some corn and fertilizer bins for a IH 250 corn planter? the bins are rotted out.

thanks , absent minded farmer, i found a used IH 250 corn planter for sale cheap, but all the boxes were rusted out, was just seeing if it was worth buying the boxes and picking up the planter cheap, but i guess finding any good boxes are going to be expensive , so i guess i'll scrap the ideal of fixing an old planter up compared to spending a few more dollars and getting something newer and better, thanks

AGRI Supply carries the round I-H fertilizer bins for I think 199 still plus shipping. Not sure what yours take but they worked
good on my old 242 planter and I've been happy with them.
They are a complete unit along with new hardware on the bottom and bolted right up to my planter

You might find better but not newer as any later planters will not be 2 row but 4 row or more. The IH 250 is the same as the JD 290 being last model 2 row built. So on any finding a good one questionable. You should be able to take sheat steel and eoll out a workable box but not good looking.

You have a welding shop nearby? Ours often rolled new steel and just replaced the bottom third.

Im guessing you mean the planter boxes. Try ASC, Agra Supply Co. They have fiberglass ones for the
Cub planter 1 800 345 0169
