Hi I have a international harvester 27 baler and I was wondering what main drive oil it takes? I'm thinking 90w gear oil.

correct.BTW order a book ASAP. When it fails to tie,the first thing you will do is come here and sayHELP!. That book would have told you the answer.And what oil to use.

Its not that we dont want to help. Its just a really good idea to have the book for the fussy machines - baler, planter, combine. Those 3 books get used all the time, even when youve owned the machine decades and familiar with them - so many settings and adjustments.
