IH 303 combine---concave removal

I need to remove and replace the concave on my IH 303 combine.

The instructions in the owners manual are rather sketchy:

1) Remove the platform

2) Remove front adjustment shaft

3) Remove rear bolts

4) Slide concave out from the front


The problem is step (3), removing the rear bolts. How---exactly---does one access them?

The beater and the beater grate are immediately behind the concave. No way I can see to do it from behind.

Getting them out is no problem
They are in a square hole
Just take nuts off outside and push them in
Putting them back is the tricky part
I usually can get to them thru the side hole
It s a long reach but I have long arms

I'm also wondering about removing a few of the cylinder bars. To give possible access to the inside.
