IH 350 Utility bent pushrod

I could tell it was just one bad cylinder by the PAP PAP PAP back through the carb and it was clearly just running on 3 cylinders. Pulled the valve cover and there was the bent pushrod. Pulled it out, straightened it and ordered another (14 1/2") used one. It seemed like the valve wasn't really moving the same amount but now that I've smacked it down a few times with a mallet it seems to be behaving. Should I wait to install the used one in a few days or would the one I straightened be okay? [/b]

Soak the valves stems with Marvel Mystery oil. Valves sticking seams to be a common ailment.
