IH 434 Steering

Have an old IH 434 diesel. My dad bought it new. It's been a great tractor (other than the power steering) Has anyone ever replaced the factory, power steering with some kind of substitute? We've had numerous mechanics look at the original system with no luck. Would work to the left but hard to the right, if it was working at all.

Need to find someone who can do a pressure check and
find out where the problem lies. 434 power steering is
about as basic as you can get and it works well... Be
unfortunate to spend a raft of money changing it over for
the sake of a piece of dirt in the relief valve or plugged
suction strainer.

Which type of PS is British with the steering cylinder on the left side of tractor connected under left foot rest? Or USA type with the steering cylinder under by the front axle?

I too would like info on the power steering on the B434. Mine turns easier to the left that to the right.

Hi I had a broken valve in my British 2350 series A IH power steering . I'll add pictures and if they don't work email me . I added a hydraulic cylinder
replacing the original steering valve/cylinder and put an orbital motor onto the steering wheel .
