Ih 574 log splitter hydraulic problem

When i have my log splitter hooked on my hydraulics off the tractor i have to push the lever forword and when i do that my lines blow off the splitter. I have done it this way for years and now all a sudden this happens now. Whats my problem. My tractor is a 574 with a loader

Does ..blowing off the splitter.. mean they burst or pop out of the quick couplers? If they are coming uncoupled make sure the hoses are coupled correctly and the part pushed back to couple them returns to the proper position to hold it in. If it still is a problem try new male coupler tips. If that does not work rebuild or replace the female couplers.

First it would help if you described your problem better blowing out a line or blowing the coupler tips out of the female side of the coupler. Makes a lot of difference. Since those tractors run at 2500 PSI for pressure. Then if the hoses are geting nicks in the rubber coating so the wires can ruse in the hoses. That would be a good reason for the hoses to blow out under pressure. If coming out of the couplers are the hoses being pulled to much or some of the balls missing in the female side of the coupler that hold the male tip in? Are they getting coupled correctly meaning pushed in all the way as they are released so the ring holding the balls is setting fully back in it's position. Or are you meaning the lever on the tractor is popping out of it's position to keep the splitter working. If the later just tie the lever in the work position so the splitter will cycle. This could come from a few places worn detent ,wood that splits harder like elm versus ash or soft maple,rust wear on the splitter guides using more throttle to help cycle the splitter faster.
