IH 574 tractor 200c gas engine

I'm in the process of overhauling this engine. Had to have the block bored .040 on the cylinders. I ordered a engine overhaul kit when I received it the .040 oversized pistons arrived with no rings. I've since then been desperately looking for a set of oversize rings for these 4 pistons. I would definitely appreciate any information on any available old new stock or any aftermarket available rings!

Hello rabrac welcome to YT! It is almost unheard of for an overhaul kit with oversized pistons to not come with the rings. What does the provider of the kit say about their absence and what do they say about not being able to provide them to you? This site offers a set of .040 pistons and rings, see link. Hopefully you did not have the machine shop fit the pistons to your block knowing you did not have rings. I do not see an offering for just .040 rings. You could definitely call them to see if they would have them available.

eBay has rings by Sealed Power
with 3 ring pistons within certain serial number range. C200 and C301 use same rings and pistons. I saw .030,.040 and.060.

Thanks for the advise I went back online and found TractorJoe had the .040 oversized rings available. Got them order and should have them next week.
