Have stripped threads where the selenoid screws in. How can I repair this, or is there anybody who does this sort of work? Does anybody know what sort of threads these are? Thanks.

I have no experience on these carbs, but you might try retapping it and installing a heli coil. It is replacement threads for just such an emergency and they are really quite good.

I can't tell you the size of those threads, but I do know they are common machine threads, not tapered pipe or anything. Take the carb and the solenoid with you to good auto parts store and they should be able to match up a thread cutting tap so you can re-tap the hole. If the threads are too badly stripped, that won't work though. You might be able to get a heli-coil insert that will repair it. Another option is to just find another carburetor, either new or used.
