IH 684 key switch

So, the key switch on my IH 684 is on the fritz, so I looked up the replacement part, ordered it...and it's clearly different than what is currently in place. There's an extra contact, the spade terminals are different sizes and orientations...(see pictures below)

I'm trying to decide if I got sent the wrong part or what. I can cut these off and put larger spade connectors on or whatever if necessary, but I'd like to be sure I'm not doing that in order to fit the wrong part.

Anyone have some advice?

Did you get the switch from FIAT?

About year ago broke key off in my switch, ordered a new switch on line. Looked just like what you got. Anyway I could start tractor with a screwdriver, I let the switch hang from the wires and after 3 days the broken key fell out and the new switch key fit it and worked.
So I never rewired it.

Let me guess You have a Sparex switch part # S.41123 which should be replacement for European 684. IH# 3107556r92. You should not have replace terminal ends to get it to work. Something is wrong.

Yeah, I think you're exactly right. The package pictured has "S.41123" right on it.

Yeah, I bought it along with another part, to save on shipping. Should have thought to look it up here and compare.
