Im wanting to convert this plow to hydraulic. Anybody have the factory conversion brackets?

I agree, however Im just outside Houston TX. Bottom plows dont exist here.
Im open to a trip into the Midwest. Got a lead on the appropriate plow for me? I want a mostly period correct functioning plow that I can pull behind my 53 SH.

I also have a SuperH.The hydralics have a lot to be desired. A rope trip plow like that would be perfect.I'm in western Colorado. one way plows are rare here. We use two ways. I pull a #39two way'tumble plow' with my SH. And an F20 as well.No hyds on the '20',so a rope trip is the way to go.

Here's another vote along with DeltaRed, hunt up a 2-14 plow already equipped for hyd lift & lower. I've never plowed with my Super H, but I've plowed with a couple M's and 3-14 #8 plows both trip style and hydraulic raise & lower. I can switch from one to the other, can't really say I like one better than the other, except on the trip plow I sometimes hold the rope pulled too long and the plow raises as I intended, then trips and plows that I DIDN'T intend, then raises again. With the hydraulic lift/lower once the plow raises and the cylinder reaches the end of it's stroke it stays there. Till you push the lever or rod the other way, and it drops to the end of it's travel and stays completely down. I've used mostly 3 bottom IH #8 plows, used a 4F-53 or something like that, 4-14 IH fully mounted Fast Hitch plow on a 450, and a 4 bottom Case trailing plow, the Case plows cleared trash much better than an IH #8, not sure how an IH #60 or #70 would compare, probably as good as the Case or better. Plowed lots with a F-145 Deere steerable semi-mounted, can't really say I ever had plugging problems, more Horsepower on the front of the plow helps. Used several 4020 Diesels, a 4020 gas one night, 3 tanks of gas worth. Broke in a brand new 4320 on that F-145 one night, started about 3 pm,or 3:30 till after Midnight on less than one tank of fuel, it was a hot humid evening and the air conditioning running sure felt good.
I'd look for a hydraulic lift/lower plow and use the smallest diameter hyd cylinder you can, on a light 2 bottom a 2x8, a 3-14 plow a 2-1/2 x8 or 3-8, but quicker is always better, and smaller diameter is quicker.
