IH 84 series tractors

Can anyone tell me the year of an 84 series tractor by the serial number? I have scoured the net looking, but there doesn't seem to be much info on these. Here is the numbers:

584: 288287ETY

784: 232472BRY

Go to tiscoparts dot com and look under tractor specs. They have different numbers than you have posted. HTH

That is strange! Both of the serial numbers that I got came from the left side of the tractor by the bellhousing. I didn't look on the right side of the 784, but I did on the 584 and didn't see any serial number tag. I thought that the numbers I had gotten were the serial numbers because the suffix letters matched those on the CNH site when you go to the parts section. Thanks for the info on the Tisco site!
