Went to a farm sale today in East Springfield NY. Owners sold the farm and were selling the machinery. Tractors had good rubber and ran well. Bigger tractors all had around 9000 hours on them and the smaller ones were around 6000 hours or less. Tractors were all 2 wheel drive. Always like to see auction results, so I thought I would post these.
1. IH 666 had an aftermarket cab. It wouldn't start, but the owner gaurenteed it would, and if buyer wasn't 100% satisfied, they didn't have to take it, Brought $8,000.
2. IH 686 ran really nice, had the German Diesel, open station brought $9,500
3. IH 766 Black Stripe, cab brought $8,400
4. CIH 885 Factory cab, quickie loader brought $10,500
5. IH 1066 RedCab Black Stripe brought $8,500
6. IH 1066 Year A Round cab Brought $9,700
7. IH 1086 Cab $10,700
Hay and other machinery sold well except for the CIH discbine at $9,500 and the CIH round baler at $9,500. Both had little use from the looks of them. Thought maybe they were a little soft. 80 years of accumulation there. Everything from soup to nuts there. Hope some find this of some use.
