IH B23 finger bar mower

Hi, currently restoring a International B23 mowing bar 3pt linkage. Does anyone have an exploded diagram of the mowing bar where the knife slides up into and a picture of a knife for one?

The Doncaster UK IH factory built IH B23 mowers were built from 1952 to 1978. The cutter bar was exactly the same as IH used on all their mowers from the 1920 etc. The part number for the fingers/guards was MJ804 and the knife sections was MD333. Worked in a IH dealers parts department when I left school in 1958. MJ.

Hi MJ thank you for your reply and my next problem is a head scratcher for me so glad to hear of your experience.
I've a IH B23 for a number of years and recently purchased a a second one but unfortunately it didn't come with any cutting knives. I thought that I could use my other knife as it also being a B23 but to my surprise when I went to install it the end of the knife where the ball is for the driving rod to attach to would not slide on up the cutting bar at the points I've highlighted with arrows. It was only then when I went to look at my original b23 that I own its totally different at that part and the finger look slightly shorter on it and the clamps that keep the knife in align is also different. I've highlighted the parts I'm talking about with arrows and my original b23 is labelled Number 1 and the other number 2.

So now I'm at the point where I need a different knife or will have to fabricate something?

Any help greatly appreciated
