ive got an international 37 baler that was dads, had hoped to fix it up a little for old times sake. checked on some parts today at CIH and almost got sick. prices for knotter parts are unbelievable. Has anyone ever had any luck finding an aftermarket supplier of knotter parts for ih balers? ive looked thru and taken apart several "good" used parts balers to find the same problems mine has. Twine holders worn sharp, bill hook broke, trip dog worn out, etc. Any ideas?

I have an international 37 baler that misses the knot on the inside string about every 6th bale or so, very perplexing in trying to remedy some of these problem cheaply...

I needed twine guides also and IH wanted about $45 each, so I looked around a found that the $6 guides from a New Holland baler using the separate ceramic & u-bolt design would work just fine.

If you should run into knotter parts I'd be interested.

Good luck!

I've got a IH 430 that would break the twine or miss the not like yours. We switched to 9000 plastic and now we get about 1 or 2 a day that don't tie right.
