Guy I know has an IH later model pull type combine, looks like around 7-8 foot cut. Buried in snow so I can't see the model. Are there any sites around showing these combines so I can get an idea of the models and specs on them, stuff like do they use screens like a NI or another system?

Added- FWIW- It looks like the 82 combine I found in the photos here. Are there similar looking models?

The 80 (older) looks quite a bit like the 82. Grandpa had an 82 - 7' cut and Scour-Kleen. I think the 82 may have been the last IH pull type... unless they made some bigger pull-types based on s.p.'s like JD did?

Yes, IH made a 1482 pull type combine, I believe it was a 1480 without the drive parts, so if you can imagine...is was one huge pull-type that would have also been rotary if im not mistaken.

Not only 1482 but also 1682. l995, I believe was last yr of production. I believe the 80 was essentially the same machine as 91 SP.

I have a McCormic Deering, IH 80 pull type combine, and the top is rounded at the sides from the back. Does a real good job at harvesting spring wheat. A friend looked at my combine, and noticed hoe tight I had my sives set, and he informed me if his sives on his big new massy where set that tight, he wauld be blowing grain out the back end. And he alco informed me that I was getting a cleaner sample than his combine. I paid $150.00 for mine, and another combine for parts in the deal. He paid $250,000.00 for his. Made me feel pretty good.
