is there a place that talks about the cub cadet tractors of the 70s when they made by IH ? i used this forum for my ford 4000su and now i just got this cub cadet 169 i try to restore

There is a garden tractor forum here but it's pretty low volume and not specialized on Cub Cadet.

I did a quick google search and there is a forum site totally dedicated to Cub Cadets with a forum, ihcubcadet dot com. Not sure how much traffic is there but it might be worth a lurk to see if it's worth joining. Same goes with onlycubcadets dot net.

Another site where there is a dedicated, but low volume, Cadet forum is farmallcub dot com.

Probably the most active Cub Cadet forum I'm aware of is at:

Yes, I've posted on I.H.Cub Cadet.com for 20 years, they are the original and probably still the best
website to get Cub Cadet questions answered.
You can spend DAYS lurking around at all the info in that site, guy by the name HYDRO HARRY claims to
have restored his pristine 169 Cub Cadet to perfect prototype condition. It does look nice in pictures
he's posted.
Kraig has files with THOUSANDS of pictures, anything that has been posted on line.
You do have to register to post but well worth it.
