Ih dual hub sizes

I’m looking for dual hubs and duals for my 706 and I found a really great deal on the set of duals and hubs but the hubs are from a 1486 with 3 1/2 inch axle and my 706 has a 3 1/4 axle can I put the hubs from the 1486 on my 706 will they work fine or will they not fit at all

That would be like putting a 6 inch post in an 8 inch hole.
