IH pedal traor differences

Is there a way to tell the difference between a IH 806,856 and a 1026 if the decals are missing. I have looked all over and the side casting are the same along with the front ends.

No you can not tell because they are all the same casting, so you can decal them as any of the three and no one would know.

That is correct. Even though they all use the same castings, one decaled as an 806 is most desirable amongst collectors.
