Here is picture of my 2 row IH planter,it had been converted to 3 point before it was give to me. Some oil and now its operational!
Does it look like mine?I think mine was made in the early 1900's.

I think mine i a McCormick International 231, interested in knowing more about them myself.

I believe your planter is a McCormick-Deering 106 corn planter. It would have be built 1926 to late '30s. Here is a shot of mine also converted to 3pt. Planted about 7 Acres with it last year. Mine was originally a horse drawn but had a pull style tractor conversion kit on it.
Copy manuals are available on ebay and other sources.

The 102 would have had a check rower and the 104 would have had a check rower and 36" wheels. The 106 would have 30" wheels and no check rower.
