IH rear wheel weight bracket question

alot of guys use rod with little holes drilled in the rod on both inside ends so you use clip pins to hold them and the rod cant go any were and hold weights in place...

I made up a set of these I had on my Super M when I got started. Just put a bungie strap back to the cast to hold them to the inside. I took some cold rolled rod and had threads put on one end. I welded a washer on it so that it didn't pull through. Worked really well.
I thought about how others have mounted the whole wheel weights holding them in the middle, but I had to use this method because I had split weights.

The ones that I use have a piece of all thread on the inside with nuts welded to both ends. There's a threaded coupler on the allthread with a piece of square stock welded to it. I slide in a piece of square stock and use a impact wrench to tighten and loosen the weights. Makes adding 1000 lbs real easy and fast.
