IH refrigerators

wore out

A friend in ND has 3 IH refrigerators, one works, one has some rust, not sure about the third. Is there any collector interest in such things? Where would be a good place to advertise them, THIS site and/or where?

Mainly mention them here and on Red Power Magazine forum. Basically no demand for IH freezers. Somebody might want a fridge in running condition.

Lightninboy havent seen you at red power since
The Great Coffee Shop Disaster. I was wondering
where you been. Lorenzo and MTO never came back either.
Glad to see youre still around.

Short answer is no, no collector interest. Someone may "collect" them but they're going to pay $1 or $5 each for them to sit out in a field with the rest of their hoard of junk, or at best sit in an old pole barn.

My friend wasn't expecting "big bucks", but was wondering if there was any IH collector interest before they go to the "white goods" heap at the local scapyard. Probably not common to find a lot of three in one place?

I have seen a number of photos where IH guys have spruced them up (sometimes with a new modern refrigeration unit) and use them as shop fridges.
