Wow have not been on site in a while but checked into the case site and man was there ever a good discusion on IH vs case as to who did what man some really had there underpants in a bunch.
 
I seen that to, there is a lot more to life than 2 companies that have changed ownership a handful of times to get that wound up over. Old news GET OVER IT.
 
I was there and probably the OP for that thread should have posted in tractor talk to have a neutral site to keep things cooler. But we have to keep in mind that for some J I Case was their life and I can appreciate that. In the end the OP was looking for honest answers as opposed to trolling so people posted their honest opinions. Things went a certain way in the 20th Century with the result IH being the number one manufacturer for a time and after that still strong in a few lines. Case IH when they were looking for promotional ties chose to make IH trademarks prominent based on the market share IH had over the decades it existed. I don't think that it was a slam against Case.
 
Agree I love good discusions yes I am and IH man Hard and long but it is what it is one yes was bigger than the other the hole time but who cares its still going
