IH1086 valve tic

Just got a 1086 with 4300 hours... Replaced the exhaust elbow... Now it is quiet enough that I hear a light valve tic from near the front and sounds like it is on a single cylinder... This is just a bit louder than the rest of the rattle and bang...
Should I pull the valve cover and adjust, or is this within normal for this engine?

Well, we were at the dealer today and I bought a gasket for the rocker cover so I guess we are going to lash the valves... expensive gasket...
This is a 4300 hour tractor with a sloppy amateur paint job after it was left outside to rust... It has the usual cosmetic issues but mechanically it seems sound and worth the $11K I gave for it... Starts immediately and ran at full throttle on the road for over 50 miles getting it home wihout any issues we noticed...

We are pulling the cab blower to replace as it rattles so bad you can"t think... The AC barely cools and we are going to charge it (has some pressure) and see if the compressor is ok...
Tim has been putting in the effort to clean it up, pressure spraying it several times, pulling the front coolers off their brackets and cleaning out the trapped gunk, cleaning the engine radiator, putting on a new exhaust elbow, etc... He has pulled the entire interior cab top down as the foam is falling apart...
I will be calling the tire guy to come replace the front tire that has a torn sidewall... He is willing to go out there in 97 degrees and work on it - and I am willing to let him :)

Anyway, the real estate agent just called and said my offer on an 80 acre farm was accepted so there goes the bank account... And we will be needing this tractor this fall after the renter gets the corn off...

Ah jeez self - now what did we get ourselves into?
