IH674 fuel gauge

Does anyone know where you can buy a fuel gauge for a 674 diesel. Got the sending unit but can only find the gauge from caseIH and they want almost $ 400 for it which is ridiculous.

You could call the Parts number on this site to see if they have a replacement or a good used one from salvage.

Why not just get a genaric gauge and put in. All that about ohms needing to match for them to work is nonsense if you just want to know if you have fuel or not. Our 574and 674 have not worked in years. I just look in the tank or stick it before working so I don't run out or I fill it up. Runs just as well on the top half as the bottom. And never walked up for fuel on the top half.
