IHC 2001 loader mounting

Does anyone know if a model IHC 2001 loader off a IHC Super M will fit a IHC 300 row crop tractor, or does it take different brackets. A 300 & Super M are close in size.

The 300 is an H on steroids. The H/300 frame rails are 2 narrower.Plus the 300 frame rails are 4 channel. The M is 5 channel. I'l bet the side rails are different lengths too. Get out your tape measure.
However, with some cutting/welding/drilling,you can make it 'fit'.

All i know is they got a clamp, that swings over the back axle, then you put the nut on that holds up the back of the loader,a friend about 10 miles away had one on a 856,but never seen him take it off etc!!
That was years ago when the 856 was kinda new, way before their was a real quick attach, loader!!

06 thru 86 2001 's were a little different due to rear axles shape . I had one on one of my 706's i used it to handle machinery most of the time . It came on a 706 that i had run thru several auctions and never got bid , all i wanted out of the tractor and loader was 3250 . Took it back home pulled the loader and took the tractor back next sale and a bidding war took off and it brought 4450 . Put the loader on mine and used it for several years then got a heavier loader and took the 2001 to a sale and it brought 2150 , Must have been that qt. of paint that brought the price up .

No cutting or welding necessary.

It should bolt right on, with at most a 1" spacer behind the front brackets.

The loader clamps to the axles where the cultivators mount.

The front mount brackets used on H, Super H, 300 and 350 are somewhat different than those used on M, Super M, 400 and 450. Page below, from my parts book, shows the front brackets. As others stated, fitting the front brackets from M to 300 will be similar but will require the spacers seen in diagram and may require a little modification.
The subframe for H, Super H, M, Super M, 300 and 350 are the same, so no problem using them.
If you need pages from parts book or Operator's manual, I have both. Just ask.

Thanks for the parts book scan Weldon. That's one that isn't online at CaseIH's website.

The H and M front brackets are a little different but I'm thinking that the bolt holes should line up still. They use the front cultivator mounting holes, and the same cultivator fit both H and M tractors.
