Looks like 3143A plate & needs a 1902A filler ring.

So far, I haven't found that plate outside of going through CaseIH & they want $94.50 for it!!! One other option is to contact these guys:

And see what they can do for you. They make the newer style Lustran plates & can make them to your spec. If you have the seed already you can size up & average out a handful of seed & let them know the size cells you need. IH indicated that it is a 16 cell plate.

You might check out eBay too, that's where I found the sunflower plates (and lots of others) for my 186 planter. The prices were less than half of Lincoln Ag too.

Have you checked Lincoln Ag Products yet? They have pages of sunflower plates for all brands of planters. So they're not even special order. $65 seems to be the going price, and they say you need a filler plate which is another $65.

I imagine the filler plate has something to do with seed flow. It's not clear where it fits in the equation.

The filler ring goes between the plate and the hopper bottom. That's because the sunflower plates are flat drop, and as such, the plate has to be thin. The ring makes the plate stay tight to the seed hopper bottom so it can be driven and not skip.

The plates that I listed are $25 each; the ones from Lincoln Ag are $65. I am not affiliated with the seller of the ones I listed in any way; however I'm not for spending twice the money on the same product.

Well I went out to the barn and found a stash of planter plates but not the number plates that I need , But I did find a filler ring that I have no idea where or when I got it, it was from Lincoln AG Products, it is .155 Thick, with the only number on it is CFR-3, any idea what this would go to..

I just tried to buy the plates an was told there is no such site.

Hi ,Mac I did find the correct plate on Ebay and got it installed so all i have to do is waite for spring to get here, Thank you and every one else for the help on this issue I could not have done it without you all. ....... Dave.
