I park my loader bucket on a 4X4 and put the loader in float mode. After yesterday the bucket goes on the ground and not in float mode. I needed to put my grapple on so before I got on the tractor released the bucket. I released the right side when I released the left side the loader arm fell on a toe OUCH!!!

I got lucky all it got was a toe nail. It had it pinced my sock and shoe stayed under the loader.

That looks painful. Good thing that a nail was all that's lost though. Could've been much worse. I sure hope you have a speedy recovery as it'll definitely be sore for awhile to come.

Sorry about your accident , and I hope it heals quickly.
When I cleaned the injury up last night its black and blue it’s not been too painful. I do need to round up an old shoe and cut the toe out. I dodged a bullet on this incident. When I was 9 I got the other foot under a lawn mower it was bad I came close to losing it.

I plan to have a shoulder replaced in November I hope I can get through this and not delay that surgery.

Ouch, know the pain. My older brother and I were adjusting the PTO on the 400 Case and wired the 3 point arm up. Should have just dropped it on the ground. It came down on my right big toe. Didn't take the nail off, kinda wished it did as Dad pulled it off with pliers a few days later. The toe nail is thick and grows kinda wonky nearly 50 years later. About 1/2 of the nail is not attached to the nail bed....James
