IMT 560 deluxe

Can anyone give me any information on the IMT 560 deluxe. Does it have a Massey design and if so what model? Are any parts interchangeable? I need a clutch and dont want to wait 6 weeks with imttractorparts.com Does anyone else supply IMT parts? Are there aftermarket supplier for tractor clutches?

Looks like ABC Groff in PA has them. Here is a link. I sell MF clutches and these sure look like the MF dual clutch design, but I have no way of knowing what MF number these would correspond to. The MF clutches are quite a bit less money. Good luck.
IMT Tractor Clutches

Hello,
I currently an investigating a hydraulic problem in the UK for 'Classis Tractor' magazine concerning a 542.
The IMT 542 and 560 models are tractors based on the MF35 and 65 and made under licence from Massey Ferguson. Whilst everything looks VERY similar I believe the reality is that literally NOTHING is the same and interchangeable. For example bolt threads will be UNC and UNF on the MF and Metric on the IMT. I understand that genuine IMT spares are difficult to ontain in the UK and will probably be the same elsewhere.
I do not know about other suppliers but whatever you order make sure its specifically for your tractor.

David, I had read they were built under license from MF, but that probably only refers to the general design, not the actual specs, as you say. When I saw the PTO disc had a 10 spline hub instead of a 25, I figured they must be based on pre-late MF A line 100 series at the earliest because that is when MF went from the 10 spline to the 25 spline. I also read last night that their factory in Serbia is supposed to be building 2500 tractors this year, up from half that amount last year.

Hello MHMalcolm,
Yes, I believe that IMT is still a front-line manufacturer supplying tractors and machinery to eastern European countries. My info from the UK importers is that they are based on the 35 and 65. Probably there were areas where they thought they might change or improve/upgrade the tractors to cope with the demands prevailing at the time.
