Well Stan seems we have a brotherhood on here. I will be 82 in Sept. I seem to have one health crisis after another but the last one is in remission and have 2 more treatments and I'm done. Have a great medical facility 25 miles down the road that seems to be able to fix everything. Future is looking good for now.....just don't forget that The glass is half FULL.

My biggest problem is not being strong enough/lacking the endurance to do what I used to do and since I work alone one of the problems associated with that is hooking up implements to tractors. So I picked up a couple more tractors recently and I'm just about to get them fixed in looks and running order to suit me.

On heating with wood, I bought an Earth brand wood stove when I built my house in 1979. Been heating my house ever since except for the last couple of years. Moved to propane for 2 reasons: This place is expanding an an alarming rate....550,000 new residents are said to have moved to Texas in 2022 and most build new fancy houses with fireplaces that consume the available supply of firewood. Second reason is stated above....I'm getting lazy....grin.

Happy Birthday
Mark

Happy Birthday! Sorry, the three oak trees I have planted may take 50 years or so before cutting. The pioneers used up any oak I wanted. Three wood burning stoves as exercise, emergency and debris removal. And while I am at it my 88th BD is the 6th, so let us both hang in there. Leo
